VogueVerse is a premium AI beauty and fashion platform. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights — including how to delete your account and data permanently.

1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of data when you use VogueVerse:
Account Information
- Name and email address (required for account creation)
- Profile photo (optional, used for your public profile)
- Password (stored as a secure hash — never in plain text)
Style & Preference Data
- Style archetype, favourite colours, and fashion preferences you set in your profile
- AI try-on results and saved looks (stored in your private gallery)
- Trend interactions (likes, bookmarks, views)
Usage Data
- App feature usage, session duration, and error logs (for performance and debugging)
- Device type, OS version, and app version
- IP address (used for fraud prevention and regional content)
Payment Data
- Stripe customer ID and subscription status (web purchases)
- Apple transaction receipts (App Store purchases — processed by Apple)
- We never store full card numbers, CVV, or raw payment credentials
2. How We Use Your Photos
Photos you upload are used solely to generate your personalised AI styling results. We do not share your photos with third parties for advertising or analytics purposes.
- Photos are processed on secure servers and deleted from our processing pipeline within 24 hours of generation, unless you explicitly save them to your private gallery.
- Photos saved to your gallery are stored encrypted and are only accessible to you.
- We do not use your photos to train public AI models without your explicit opt-in consent (see Section 4).
- Photos are never used for advertising targeting or sold to third parties.
3. FaceLock™ Privacy
FaceLock™ is a biometric-adjacent feature. Please read this section carefully.
FaceLock™ uses facial recognition technology to lock your private gallery and sensitive account features behind your face. Here is exactly how it works:
- On-device processing: FaceLock™ uses Apple's Face ID / TrueDepth camera system on iOS. Your biometric data is processed entirely on your device by Apple's Secure Enclave — VogueVerse never receives or stores your facial geometry or biometric data.
- What we store: We store only a boolean flag indicating whether FaceLock™ is enabled on your account, and the number of FaceLock™ credits remaining. No facial data is transmitted to our servers.
- Photos used for FaceLock™ setup: If you use the photo-based FaceLock™ variant (non-Face ID devices), the reference photo is encrypted and stored locally on your device only. It is not uploaded to our servers.
- Disabling FaceLock™: You can disable FaceLock™ at any time in Settings → Security → FaceLock™. This immediately removes the lock from your gallery.
- Data deletion: When you delete your account, all FaceLock™ settings and any associated local data are permanently removed.
4. AI Model Training Policy
Default: Your data does NOT train our models.
- By default, your photos, style profile, and usage data are not used to train VogueVerse's AI models.
- We may use anonymised, aggregated trend data (e.g., "70% of users prefer minimalist styles in March") to improve recommendations. This data cannot be linked back to any individual.
- If we introduce an opt-in programme to contribute data for model improvement, it will be clearly labelled, entirely voluntary, and come with explicit consent flows and compensation details.
5. Payments & Billing Data
VogueVerse uses two payment systems depending on how you subscribe:
Web Purchases (Stripe)
- Processed by Stripe, Inc. — a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor.
- We store your Stripe Customer ID and subscription status to manage your entitlements.
- We never store card numbers, expiry dates, or CVV codes.
- Manage or cancel via your Account page → Manage Billing.
App Store Purchases (Apple)
- Processed entirely by Apple. VogueVerse does not receive your payment details.
- We receive an anonymised transaction receipt to verify your subscription status.
- Manage or cancel via iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → VogueVerse.

7. Data Retention

8. Account Deletion
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data, posts, saved looks, and credits will be permanently removed.
How to delete your account:
- In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. This initiates an immediate deletion request.
- Via email: Send a request to [email protected] with subject "Account Deletion Request" and your registered email address.
- Via web: Sign in at vogueversevbe.com/account and use the Account Deletion section at the bottom of the page.
We process all deletion requests within 30 days. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by tax law, but are fully anonymised and unlinked from your identity.
If you have an active Stripe subscription, please cancel it first via your Account page → Manage Billing before requesting deletion to avoid future charges.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Update inaccurate or incomplete data via your profile settings or by contacting us.
- Deletion: Request permanent deletion of your account and data (see Section 8).
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection: Object to processing of your data for marketing or analytics purposes.
- Withdraw consent: Withdraw any consent you have given at any time.
